In May 2019, the Festival of Ukrainian Culture was held in Lebanon.

The venue encompassing the festivities was the Palace of the City Council of Zahle, where the Ukrainian band “Khoreya Kozatska” gave an outstanding performance.

The participants and guests of the concert were greeted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Lebanon (2016-2022) Ihor Ostash and the mayor of the city Zahle Assaad. Zougheib.

City council members, representatives of the Lebanese clergy, businessmen and public officials, journalists, residents of the city of Zahle and representatives of the Ukrainian community in Lebanon visited the Palace to enjoy a breathtaking performance of the folkloric Ukrainian music.
